Volunteers are what drive the association forward…please consider lending some of your time and talents as a member of our board of directors.

For as few as 6 hours of your time during the WHOLE year you could have this very rewarding experience.

Serving as an HOA volunteer is a very rewarding experience. Plus, volunteers are what drive associations forward. Without them, our association’s operations would come to a screeching halt. We need volunteers at various levels of time commitment:

Lend us your wisdom — requires as little as 6-8 hours of your time during the WHOLE YEAR

New blood drives us forward providing new ideas, opinions, or simply asks the right questions that causes us to rethink the status quo.

  • The board meets once per quarter (October, January, April, July) for 60-90 minutes.
  • There is one annual general membership meeting in the fall (~2 hours)

Lend us your ‘just get it done’ attitude — requires an additional 6-8 hours at various times of the year

If you like being out in nature, or have a green thumb, or maybe you just like to watch 40 ft trees fall to the ground, you could help:

  • Serve as point of contact to coordinate with our landscaping company on the mowing and maintenance of our grounds.
  • Ensure our paths, play areas, and sport courts are properly maintained.
  • Serve as a point of contact with our tree service. When members report a tree problem in our common areas you would be one of the contacts who you check it out and coordinate with one of our tree service vendors to take care of the problem. You don’t have to actually cut down the tree but if you really want to use that chainsaw there is usually an opportunity somewhere on our common grounds.

Lend us your talents — requires your wisdom plus 1-2 hours of your time and talent each month.

If you have communication skills or found all the errors in this email you can help with communicating to our members via emails, flyers, etc..

If you have technical skills (website management…WordPress), financial accounting (tracking vendors and invoices), or organizational skills (recording minutes of meetings, preparing agendas, coordinating meetings and venues), you could help:

  • Secretary
  • Membership coordinator
  • Web manager
  • Book keeping, vendor management, etc

Lend us your leadership skills or gain some leadership skills for your resume (yes, we will help train you).

  • We need people who are willing to serve in the leadership positions as president and vice-president.
  • Note: Formally, the members will elect the board of directors at the annual meeting. The board of directors will elect the officers (president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer).

If you are interested in this very rewarding experience or know someone who would be a great addition to the board (we will reach out to that person and inquiry) let us know.

Please e-mail jimeklein@gmail.com to discuss how you can volunteer to help!
